Sketch Book Cover

This is my final cover for my sketch book that in some way resamble my desing concepts so what a better way to explore this with bright colors and nice letterings.  I wanted to keep the front as simple as possible but give it a little twist with a big and bright desing on the back and it turn out great Im very proud of it.

trees

This skecth of trees branches and definely not my best skech. I believe i could have spend more time on this and make more relaistic instead of the fake tree look. this is oen of my weakness and something that i need to work on for improvement.

Kitchen Still alive

This sketch turn out good. the use of color is not the best and there's not shading. I would work on future sketches keeping in mind the use of better colors and shading in the future.

Ligh Box

the idea for this project was to focus on light, shadow, and patterns as a unit that work with a box. I design a simple pattern that reflected a complex shadow but cast light in a very nice way. the semy curvy line give a sense of optical illusion and a sense of and moving box.

Bench

This is my bench project. The idea was to find an object and create a bench base on the elements and characteristics of the found object. I use semicircle and stright lines to create my bench. It took many study models and several sketches to get to the final model. I also need it to take into consideration the FDA requirements and the require measurement for a bench.

Point Line

This project was a difficult and hard for me. It did not make a lot of sense but after talkin got professors I figure it out. The idea was to use a four lines and a point, centered, fixed, etc. this was good project.

This is my final Bench Poster and  something that Im really proud of beacause i figure it out by myself and it took me a long time but i did it. It turn out very good since im not the best with those programs

Resume

This is my final resume. I find it very interesting on how to make your resume stand out by creating and desing it with InDesign. Altought i have a hard time figuring out the program i really enjoy the process. This would help me design better resumes in the future. I add my logo design on my resume to make it stand out and tell the employer that I know how to use the programs.

Cross- section of Fruit

for this sketch i use colors to add details and depth to the fruit. I really enjoy this sketch and my use of color was really good. I would like to keep exploring with colors and make really interesting sketches in the future.

Room Corner

This is a room corner of my hall and one of my best sketches. I took my time developing my sketch and make look cretive at the same time keeping the natural elements in the room.  My shading was really good and it make the whole sketch comes to life. I really enjoy this sketch and looking forward to sketch more of this kind.

Pattern

This Pattern design was one of the project that I enjoy because it was easy to design and kind of fun. I definely think i could done a better job and I believe there is plenty of room for improvement. I think I would choosen different colors and maybe a more complex pattern.

Textile Pattern

This is my final textile Pattern. I decide to combine the skull Mexican dancer with a mayan calendar to show a representation of the Mexican culture. I decide to use dark and light colors to make a contrast and make the dancer pop out and the background fade. this was one the most difficult task for me because I never work with InDesign and Illustrator before, it took me a long time to figure out the program but I learned a lot after I finished. This is one of those programs that are hard to learn but once u learned they could be a lot of fun. 

chair View

For this sketch a used a chair as my object. The process required me to draw from different perspective and to use toning techniques to make it pop out of the paper. This was a difficult sketch cause this was my first time i draw an object and it was hard figuring out the line and angles of the chair. But it help me get a sense on how to do a better skect in the future.

napkin

This is a floor plan sketch of my dorm. This sketch was fun and it gave me a sense of the use of different material to draw a site plan.  It also gave a opportunity to explore and figure out the real size to scale of the furniture around the dorm to make appeal more realistic. I definely need to work on future plan sketches and make them better.

Fruit

In this sketch I use a crosshatching technique. I enjoy drawing but I never really use this type of technique so it was interesting to see the final results. I really like my final sketch and my hatching technique wasn't the bad. This technique gives a lot of depth to the drawing and a very interesting look.

key sketch

This was my very first sketch in ID 197. I learned that is best to focused to making straight lines first and later add details. I also learned different shading techniques  to add details and made the drawing pop out. for it to be my first skect I think i did really good.  I usually focus on details as I'm drawing which make a bad sketch

Fisher House

This is a ¼ scale representation of the Fisher House by Architect Louis I. Khan. This house was build during 1960-1967 in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. This house is a representation of architecture taken to most minimum and simplest form. This is one of my best projects that I countless hours on and something that I feel very proud of. It was a good way to approach a design from a house that was built and make the model for it.
